Fatima Homework Club is a programme of Rialto Youth Project. The
Homework Club aims to foster the value of children and young people to
reach their full potential in their education through various ways;
supporting children to complete their homework daily, providing a safe
and welcoming space where children enjoy their time and leave feeling
happy and confident in their work. In addition, the clubs seek to
develop additional skills and talents of young people by providing
extra-curricular activities such as arts-based, health based and
social programmes. Working in partnership, respect for staff, children
and young people, safety and an individual?s interests are valued.
The clubs also seek to strengthen links between the schools, children,
families, and the community.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A REAL COMMITMENT TO THE ETHOS AND
VALUES OF THE PROJECT AND FIT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING THREE PROFILE
REQUIREMENTS:
* A professionally endorsed qualification (level 5 or above) in a
relevant field such as education, early years, special needs is
essential + 2 years? experience of working with young people at risk
is desirable.
LOCATION:?Based in Fatima Homework Club, F2 centre, Rialto, Dublin 8
HOURS:?**Apply on the website** hours per week
SALARY:?The salary will be point 1 of the CDYSB Youth Work Scale.
